Rob purchased a block of land in the then new North Haven Estate in 1976, subsequently he built his home in 1977 and raised his family there. At age 12 he purchased his first sailboat (a 12 footer) and raced at the Port River Sailing Club, he has never stopped racing and cruising the Gulf waters since.
